Appeal after armed robbery at Auburn

Police are appealing for public assistance and have released CCTV of a man who may be able to assist with their inquiries following an armed robbery in Sydney's west last month.

About 1.10am (Monday 26 October 2020), an unknown male threatened a 23-year-old man with a box-cutter outside a unit complex on Queen Street, Auburn.

Police have been told the male stole a phone and bank card before leaving the scene.

The 23-year-old was not injured and notified officers attached to Auburn Police Area Command who attended and commencing an investigation.

As inquiries continue, police have released CCTV vision and images of a man who may be able to assist.

He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged in his early 20s, between 175cm and 180cm tall, of medium build, with short blond hair. He is depicted wearing dark coloured cargo pants, an orange, high-vis long sleeve top, a blue hat and glasses.
