The newly elected Macedon Ranges Shire Council resolved at its meeting on Wednesday 25 November to thank all members of the outgoing Council for their contribution to the shire.
A Notice of Motion to thank the former Council comprising Henry Bleeck, Natasha Gayfer, Roger Jukes, Mandi Mees, Helen Radnedge, Andrew Twaits, Jennifer Anderson, Janet Pearce and Bill West for their outstanding and dedicated commitment to the Macedon Ranges Shire over the last four years was passed unanimously.
Former Councillors Henry Bleeck, Natasha Gayfer, Roger Jukes, Mandi Mees, Helen Radnedge and Andrew Twaits served one term on Council, from 2016 to 2020. Former Councillor Mees was Deputy Mayor in 2018/19 and 2019/20.
It was former Councillor Bleeck's second term on Council, having previously served from 2004 to 2008. Former Councillor Jukes served three consecutive terms on Council from 2008 to 2020, and was Mayor for the 2012/13 and 2013/14 Council terms.
