Home owner threatened before car stolen at Mt Barker, South Australia

Police are looking for a man and a stolen Commodore following a break-in at Mount Barker yesterday.

Just after 12.30am on Saturday the 31 October, the man, allegedly armed with pitchfork, forced his way into a Liebelt Road home demanding money and car keys from the occupant. The suspect threatened the home owner before stealing the car keys and driving off in the victim's black 2007 Holden VE SV6 Commodore sedan, with SA registration XTF227.

The suspect is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged 20-30 years, approximately 180cm tall with a muscular/stocky build.

Investigators from Mount Barker CIB are seeking assistance from the public to keep a look out for the stolen vehicle. Anyone who sights the Commodore is asked to call the Police Assistance Line on 131444.
