Lancaster retains top ten position in Complete University Guide 2021

Lancaster has been ranked 8th out of 131 universities in the UK and is the top university in the North West in The Complete University Guide 2021.

The University is ranked 3rd nationally for Graduate Prospects for the second year running, demonstrating the excellent employment record of our graduates.

In addition to being the leading university in the North West, Lancaster is also ranked number one in the region for both Graduate Prospects and Student Satisfaction.

In the 70 individual subject tables, Lancaster is a top performer and is first in the UK for Student Satisfaction among students of Dance, Drama and Cinematics (Theatre) and Linguistics.

Graduate Prospects for dozens of subject areas are among the best in the UK:

· 1st for Creative Writing, Chemical Engineering, French, Iberian Languages (Spanish), Law

· 2nd for Linguistics, Geography and Environmental Science
