The City has partnered with local residents and stakeholders to deliver a range of actions to address vandalism and hoon issues at Limeburners Point. This includes the installation of new traffic islands, with wheel stops within them, as well as prominent signage.
These measures reduce the open spaces without restricting the desired use of the car park for boats. We will monitor the impacts of the treatment and assess if further works are required to improve safety in the wider precinct. CCTV cameras and street lighting will soon be installed. We encourage residents to report incidents as they occur to Victoria Police.
