Mt. Lawley car and carport fire

Arson Squad detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fire at a property on William Street in Mount Lawley on Saturday, 13 June 2020.

The fire started around 1.20am and destroyed a brand new Toyota C-HR vehicle and the carport it was housed in. The damage bill is estimated at $70,000.

Arson Squad detectives wish to speak to anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area prior to the fire and urge anyone with dash-cam or mobile phone vision of the area around the time of the fire to come forward.

Anyone with information regarding this fire, is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au. People providing information to Crime Stoppers may remain anonymous if they wish.

Rewards of up to $50,000 are available for information that leads to the identification and conviction of an arsonist.
