National Public Service Week recognizes the many contributions of federal public servants who proudly serve Canadians from coast to coast to coast.
This week has been an opportunity to acknowledge the work of the Public Service of Canada, and federal public servants have been reflecting on the major achievements of the past year.
In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, public servants continue to deliver programs and services to Canadians while rolling out critical initiatives such as Canada's Emergency Response Benefit and the Canada Emergency Wage Subsidy. And we have seen unprecedented collaboration between local, provincial, territorial and public sector partners, as well as those in other countries, to minimize the health, economic and social impacts of COVID-19.
The Public Service of Canada has maintained an international reputation for service excellence. Canadians have high expectations for their public service, and public servants, in turn, take pride in serving their country and its people, particularly in a time when their work is valued most.

National Public Service Week takes place this year from June 14 to 20. In light of any physical distancing measures, public servants have been encouraged to virtually take part in activities in their organization and region.
