Police charge man after 2018 Frankston shooting

Detectives from the Echo Taskforce have charged a man following an alleged drive-by shooting and car fire in Frankston in 2018.

A 36-year-old man has been charged on summons today with discharge a firearm at premises, reckless conduct endangering life, criminal damage by fire (arson), prohibited person possess firearm, and theft of motor vehicle.

The man will appear at Melbourne Magistrates' Court on 21 July, 2020.

The charges follow an incident where number of shots were fired into a residential property on Warrain Street on 31 May, 2018 as well as car fires on Warrain Street and Carramar Drive.
