Assault CBD, South Australia

A man has been arrested following a serious assault in the city early this morning.

Just after 2.30am, Saturday 7 November, police attended King William Street near Rundle Mall after seeing a group of people involved in a disturbance on monitored CCTV.

Patrols were quickly arrive and located a teenage boy with lacerations to his face and finger.

The 19-year-old from the eastern suburbs was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The suspect was seen on CCTV in Pirie Street, patrols quickly attended and arrested the man. Police located a multi-tool allegedly used during the assault in his possession.

A 21-year-old man from Brahma Lodge was arrested and will be charged later today.
