Detectives investigate suspicious house fire in Braybrook

Maribyrnong Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for public assistance as they continue to investigate a suspicious house fire in Braybrook yesterday morning.

Local police were driving along Ashley Street when they observed flames coming from a unit about 2am.

The officers alerted police communications and emergency services responded to extinguish the fire, which had fully engulfed the house in flames.

Two occupants who were home at the time of the incident were not injured.

Investigators are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity or with dashcam vision who may have been in the vicinity of Ashley Street to come forward.
