Man dies after being stabbed at Toongabbie

A man has died after being stabbed in Sydney's north-west overnight.

Just before 10.30pm yesterday (Sunday 15 November 2020), emergency services were called to Budgeree Road, Toongabbie, following reports a man had been stabbed.

The man, aged 49, was found outside the front of a house with a number of stab wounds to his chest.

He died on the scene.

Officers from Parramatta City Police Area Command have established a crime scene around the house and are investigating the incident with assistance from the Homicide Squad.

A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
