MCIU investigate Greensborough pedestrian collision

Detectives from the Major Collision Investigation Unit are appealing for witnesses following a collision that left a man with life threating injuries in Greensborough yesterday evening.

Investigators have been told a pedestrian was crossing Vermont Parade at a T-intersection when he was struck by a Ford Ranger making a right-hand turn from Henry Street about 6.30pm on 16 June.

The 44-year-old Greensborough man was taken to hospital where he remains in a critical condition.

The driver of the of the Ford, a 39-year-old Greensborough man, stopped to assist at the scene.

MCIU detective are appealing for anyone who witnessed or who may have dash cam footage of the pedestrian, or the Ford Ranger, prior to the collision to come forward.
