Police update: Out of Control Gathering - Rivervale

Central Regional Operations Group officers have charged two men as a result of their ongoing investigation into an out of control gathering in St Kilda Road, Rivervale Saturday 25 July 2020.

It will be alleged that the men were organisers of the party and hired a Short Stay Accommodation premises for the purposes of holding the party.

A 19-year-old man was charged with Organising an Out Of Control Gathering.

He is due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court 5 November 2020.

An 18-year-old man was charged with Organising an Out Of Control Gathering.

He is due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court 6 November 2020.

Acting Inspector Clyde Pearson of State Operations Division said;

"This incident occurred at a Short Stay Accommodation premises booked online by the organisers. Any members of the public renting their house on a short term basis should be aware of the dangers involved as organisers of these events often use false names or other means to book the accommodation. Due diligence by accommodation owners is encouraged by WA Police".
