Police have arrested a 35-year-old Coburg man after a laser was allegedly pointed at the police helicopter overnight.
Members of the Air Wing directed ground crews to an address in Jackson Parade, Coburg about 3.45am after their aircraft was allegedly targeted by a man sitting on the front porch of the property.
A number of units attended shortly after and spoke to two males at the address.
A 35-year-old Coburg man was arrested by police and allegedly surrendered the laser.
He was interviewed and charged with conduct endangering serious injury.
The man was released on bail to appear at court at a later date.
