AgForce urging producers to prepare for natural disasters

Heatwaves, the potential for cyclones and floods, bushfires, ongoing drought – Queensland residents, especially those in the bush, know what it’s like to live through natural disasters.

But AgForce wants to make sure you prepare properly and know what to do if disaster does strike, so that you can look after your loved ones, your workers, and your animals.

With La Nina expected to wreak havoc throughout summer, the Queensland Government has put together a set of natural disaster guides to help producers protect their property, business, livestock, and crops.

There are also checklists that cover a range of scenarios.

Prepare now and ensure it’s a happy, safe Christmas this summer.

If you do find yourself in need of help this summer, remember AgForce is just a phone call away: (07) 3236 3100.
