As part of an ongoing firearm and drug operation targeting high harm addresses, Cannington Detectives with the assistance of Tactical Response Group executed a search warrant in Lathlain on Wednesday 18 November 2020.
Just before 5am TRG executed a rapid entry Misuse of Drugs Act and Firearms Act warrant at an address in Cookham Road.
As a result of that warrant a result a 36-year-old man was charged with-
• Possession of an unlicensed firearm (circumstances of aggravation)
• Possession of unlicensed ammunition
• Possession of unlawfully obtained property (cash)
• No authority to drive (Suspended – other than fines)
• Possession of prohibited drug (meth)
• Possession of drug paraphernalia
He will appear in the Perth Magistrates Court 19 November 2020.
