An 18-year-old man is due to appear before the Perth Magistrates Court today (22 June 2020), after being arrested by Sex Assault Squad detectives yesterday, Sunday 21 June 2020.
It is alleged about 4.20pm on 21 June 2020, the man entered a home in the Perth northern suburbs and confronted the 93-year-old female resident.
It is further alleged the man attempted to sexually assault the woman before leaving the home.
An 18-year-old man from Gosnells has been charged with:-
• Attempted Aggravated Sexual Penetration Without Consent;
• Aggravated Indecent Assault; and
• Aggravated Burglary and Commit.
