Traffic Enforcement Group officers are investigating a serious crash that occurred in Bayswater last night, 16 June 2020.
About 8.45pm, a silver Audi 8T hatchback was heading north-east along Bassendean Road when the vehicle crossed onto the incorrect side of the road, struck a metal guard rail and then a tree.
The driver, a man in his 30s was trapped in the vehicle and was extracted by Department of Fire and Emergency Services personnel. He received serious injuries and was conveyed by ambulance to hospital.
The passenger, a man in his 20s received minor injuries and was able to free himself from the wreckage.
