City of Casey reopens

With the easing of restrictions on 9 November, more community facilities across Casey have re-opened and are welcoming back visitors.

While the community has already been enjoying local playgrounds, reserves and outdoor skate parks, Council has now been able to open several of our indoor recreation facilities including:

  • Casey Stadium
  • The Shed
  • Endeavour Hills Leisure Centre
  • Berwick Leisure Centre; and
  • Casey RACE.

Doveton Pool in the Park is scheduled to reopen on 1 December for the summer season.

Myuna Farm has once again reopened to visitors and the grounds are open at the Old Cheese Factory. Wilson Botanic Park, which has been open for several months, was also the venue for two weddings in recent weeks - with limited guest numbers and appropriate health measures in place.

Bunjil Place is on track to reopen on Monday 23 November with customer service, the library, gallery, box office and café all operating with slightly different hours. The café will be offering outdoor dining in the plaza and several events are planned for the plaza to welcome the festive season in December. More details are available on the Bunjil Place website: www.bunjilplace.com.au
