Police seek help to find missing woman at Woodstock

Police are appealing for community assistance to locate a 38-year-old woman missing in the Townsville area.

At 7pm yesterday evening (December 13) police were called to Old Flinders Highway at Woodstock after a vehicle was observed to have been parked unaccompanied for most of the day.

Police searched the vehicle, a grey 4WD dual cab, and as a result have determined it is linked to Nikki Whittle.

A search commenced for Nikki in the surrounding area this morning however failed to locate her.

Investigations now indicate she visited a service station in Calcium around 11am yesterday. This was the last known sighting of Nikki wearing the clothing pictured.

Police hold serious concerns for her welfare as she has a medical condition.

Police believe she may no longer be in the Woodstock area.

Nikki is described as Caucasian, 160cm tall, a slim build, brown hair and blue eyes. She also has a distinctive winged tattoo on her neck.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is encouraged to contact police.
