INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENTSUBJECT: Delegation of Certain Functions and Authorities
under the Elie Wiesel Genocide and Atrocities
Prevention Act of 2018
By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, including section 301 of title 3, United States Code, I hereby delegate to the Secretary of State, in consultation with the Secretary of the Treasury, the Secretary of Defense, the Attorney General, the Director of the Central Intelligence Agency, and the Administrator of the United States Agency for International Development, the functions and authorities vested in the President by section 5(a) of the Elie Wiesel Genocide and Atrocities Prevention Act of 2018 (Public Law 115-441).
The delegation in this memorandum shall apply to any provisions of any future public law that are the same or substantially the same as the provision referenced in this memorandum.
The Secretary of State is authorized and directed to publish this memorandum in theFederal Register.
