Second man charged after investigations into 2019 public place shooting - Balmain

A man will face court today following investigations into a public place shooting in Sydney's Inner West last year.

About 9pm on Thursday 29 August 2019, police were called to Pearson Street, Balmain, following reports of shots fired.

Officers from Leichhardt Police Area Command attended and commenced an investigation under Strike Force Bemix.

Following extensive inquiries, a 22-year-old man was charged on Thursday 26 November 2020. He remains before the courts.

Following further inquiries, a 25-year-old man was arrested at Manly Police Station about 10.15am today (Thursday 3 December 2020).

He was charged with discharge firearm intend cause grievous bodily harm.

The Brookvale man has been refused bail to appear at Manly Local Court today.
