Services Australia, formerly the Department of Human Services, has advised that prescribing dentists can now order their PBS prescription stationery through Services Australia's new online ordering system, available 24/7.
Ordering takes place through Health Professional Online Services (HPOS) which requires health professionals using the service to set up a Provider Digital Access (PRODA) which enables access to the ordering system anywhere a user might be at any time of the day.
Services that can be accessed by the portal are as follows:
-place a stationery order
-view order details
-re-order a previous order
Ordering PBS stationery online will mean dentists and other health professionals will be able to place and view their orders, repeat order the same items easily, nominate someone to place orders on their behalf, and track the status of their orders.
