Police appeal for information after shots fired into home at Gunnedah

Police are appealing for information after shots were fired into a home in the state's north east at the weekend.

About 8.40pm on Sunday (14 June 2020), shots were fired at a home on Jaegar Avenue, Gunnedah.

Two people were inside at the time; however, they were uninjured.

Officers attached to Oxley Police District were notified yesterday (Monday 15 June 2020) and attended the home.

A crime scene was established which has been examined by specialist forensic officers.

As part of ongoing investigations, detectives are urging anyone who may have been in the area at the time of the incident and have CCTV or dashcam vision from the surrounding areas to come forward.

Investigators are seeking information about a vehicle seen driving away at the time.
