Police appeal for witnesses to fail to stop crash at Liverpool

Officers from Liverpool City Police Area Command are investigating the circumstances of a fail-to-stop crash that occurred at Liverpool today.

About 12.30pm (Thursday 3 December 2020), emergency services were called to the intersection of Goulburn and Lachlan Streets after a man was found on the roadway suffering serious head injuries.

He was treated at the scene before being taken to Liverpool Hospital where he remains in a serious condition.

Early inquiries suggest the man was hit by car that continued driving away from the scene.

A crime scene has been established as police investigations continue.

Officers are now calling for anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or who may have dash-cam vision to come forward.
